Pastor David Tenold began his career as a teacher. He transitioned to the pastoral ministry in 1998 with an unmistakable call from God. Pastor David is passionate about encouraging his congregation to read the Scriptures for themselves. He enjoys visiting his members, and he believes in providing opportunities for them to get to know each other to bond as a church family.
Pastor David's favorite verses are Hebrews 4:14-16. "Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Pastor David's personal story of God's grace and power working in his life is still in the making.
He and his wife Marie are blessed with a daughter and two sons, as well as their host daughter who has been a part of their family for many years. Pastor David's hobbies include backpacking, golf, hockey, Biblical languages, and learning about preventative medicine.
